So I had mentioned before that I liked the glass on the previous front door I had picked out, but wasn’t quite happy about the bottom part. Well, that thought turned me to finding a new door. The door is on special order, so I don’t have a picture of it yet, but here’s one that’s similar that I found online:
The door will also have a “dentil shelf” that is included just below the windows that gives it that traditional craftsman style look. I like how the bottom part of the door looks similar to the interior doors, and the upper part echo’s some of the roundness of the other doors and kitchen cabinets. Here’s what the shelf will probably look like:
There’s always the risk with ordering something site-unseen. Let’s hope it works out well this time.
I particularly like the vent covers. awesome to find something unique in something that’s so often taken for granted.
